I started writing online in 2020 to share what I thought I knew.
The writing presented itself in the form of psychology, philosophy, a dollop of wealth creation and a splash of conspiracy theory.
As the saying goes, throw a load of 'sh*t at a wall and see what sticks'. This was mid-2020 when the world was turned upside down.
Pondering how insane people had gone I thought it'd be a good idea to spend the coming winter in our villa in Turkey rather than being cold and wet at home in the UK. The villa is in the foothills of Babadag Mountain, on the Oludeniz coastline.
I'm an early riser, usually up before the sun has risen about the mountain's peak. One morning, as I was building my writing habit, I looked towards the mountain and asked what all of this was about. I'd had enough of my own BS and needed to call myself out.
I'd already done relatively well in the property investment game and had realised a few years prior that I was trying to fill a void by chasing success - a standard unconscious practice. Unattainable nonetheless.
It all seemed so meaningless. (Paradoxically, later confirmed after sincere self-inquiry but recognised as a product of the non-dual state of unbounded freedom).
And so I started writing about whatever I was interested in. Not because I wanted a following but to clarify my thinking and see where it might lead.
With over 100 articles, countless newsletters, and even a dabble at poetry, I'm moving my writing to Substack.
My previous writings will be archived on my website; there is value there for people.
One's creative endeavours change with their level of development. I now write about Truth, Spirituality and Enlightenment.
As with everything I do, I have no idea where this will lead me.
It’s good to have you here,
Alex
