“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul alike.” - John Muir
Notice, no artist can paint like our eyes. The mountains and forests strike with awe.
Notice, no musician can craft a song like our ears. The birds sing the sweetest songs.
While artists, craftsmen, and musicians strive to replicate the splendour of mountains, forests, and birdsong, their efforts often fall short of the effortless majesty found in the natural world.
Do we have the intelligence to overflow abundantly like a simple blueberry bush? Nothing requested, nothing expected, just selfless giving without thought.
I don’t write this to sound like a hippy green eco-warrior.
This is Nature’s way.
The majesty surrounds you, always. It’s priceless. You don’t need anything society offers to see the magic that reflects your being.
Nature invites us to witness its artistry and emulate it. These are fundamental principles of life. One may even see the interconnectedness and interdependence that transcend society's superficial offerings.
When you’re struggling to find gratitude in your heart, look here.
Love it Alex
Good read for me!
